PT Optima Anugerah is seeking a talented and experienced Lead Pastry Chef to join our team in Balikpapan. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the pastry department, ensuring high-quality products, and maintaining a creative and innovative approach to menu development. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pastry arts, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional culinary experiences.

📋 Tanggung Jawab Pekerjaan

Oversee the daily operations of the pastry department, including scheduling staff, managing inventory, and ensuring food safety and quality standards are met.,Develop and implement new pastry recipes and menu items to keep up with market trends and customer preferences.,Train and mentor junior pastry chefs and staff to maintain high standards of quality and service.,Collaborate with the head chef and other culinary teams to ensure consistency in product quality and presentation.,Monitor and control costs to ensure profitability and efficiency in the pastry department.,Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and food handling procedures.,Participate in team meetings and contribute to the overall strategic planning of the restaurant.

🎓 Kualifikasi & Syarat

Minimum of 5 years of experience as a pastry chef or in a similar role.,Proven track record of successfully managing a pastry department.,Strong knowledge of pastry techniques, ingredients, and equipment.,Excellent leadership and communication skills.,Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.,Familiarity with local and international culinary trends and regulations.,Proficiency in Indonesian and English languages is a plus.
